I have found myself increasingly fascinated by artificial intelligence. Not in a fearful way, but with genuine curiosity about what it means for how we live, how we work, and how we build businesses. Here we go again – my fascination of curiosity!
Only recently, I was reading about new tools that can create music in seconds. A simple prompt can become a song, complete with lyrics and sound. Ideas that once lived only in your mind can now be expressed almost instantly. The speed and accessibility of it is extraordinary, and it is changing how we think about creativity, communication, and possibility.
But what interests me most about AI is not simply the technology. It is what it enables people to do.
Over the past year, I have been using artificial intelligence across my own businesses, from Eat Nourish Love to my consultancy work, and I have seen first-hand how powerful it can be. Not as a replacement for human thinking, but as a support. A tool that allows small businesses, founders, and entrepreneurs to move more quickly, with more clarity and confidence.
Through my consultancy, I am now helping individuals and small businesses understand AI in a practical and grounded way. Many people feel unsure about where to begin. They hear about artificial intelligence everywhere, but they do not know how it applies to their business, their work, or their daily life. What I do is help them see how AI can be used simply, effectively, and without losing their voice or identity.
Artificial intelligence for small business owners can be transformative. It can help with creating website content, developing marketing ideas, managing customer communication, and organising business strategy. Tasks that once took hours can now be done in minutes, allowing founders to focus on the areas where they add the most value building relationships, creating experiences, and growing their vision- just for the info I am writing this not Ai!
What I emphasise most strongly is that AI is not about removing the human element. It is about strengthening it. It removes friction. It supports creativity and gives people more time and more space to think clearly and act with intention.
Many of the people I work with are founders, creatives, and entrepreneurs who have built their businesses through instinct, experience, and hard work. They often feel overwhelmed by the pace of technological change, but when they begin to understand how artificial intelligence can support their existing strengths, rather than replace them, something shifts. They feel empowered rather than threatened.
This is where I believe my role is particularly valuable. I sit between the technology and the human being and help understand what AI can do into something practical, accessible, and relevant. I help people apply it in a way that supports their business growth, enhances their creativity, and strengthens their confidence.
Artificial intelligence is not just for large corporations or technology companies. It is a tool that small businesses can use every day. It can help level the playing field and allows individuals with strong ideas, passion, and vision to operate more efficiently and more effectively.
As someone who has spent over 30 years building businesses, raising funds, creating events, and bringing people together, I see AI as one of the most important shifts of our time. Not because it replaces human creativity, but because it supports it. It enables people to move forward more easily. It removes barriers and can potentially open doors.
Curiosity is essential in moments like this. The people who are willing to learn, explore, and understand these tools will be the ones who benefit most. Not because they are technical experts, but because they remain open and willing to adapt.
Through my consultancy, I am committed to helping people navigate this change. To understand what artificial intelligence can do, how it applies to their business, and how they can use it in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
This is not about becoming a technology expert. It is about understanding possibility.
Artificial intelligence is here, and it is already shaping the future of business, creativity, and communication. The opportunity now is to understand it, to use it wisely, and to allow it to support the work we care deeply about.
And that, more than anything, is why I am so fascinated by what is happening right now – there is so much but also there has never been a more important time to be involved – if you are in it, working with it you can also help how change happens in a safe and authentic way!
